A love letter to The Unknown.

Here I sit, recollecting the times we’ve spent together. Thinking of you causes my spirit to lift and a smile spreads across my lips.

You’re terrifyingly beautiful, intimidatingly confident, wonderfully irrational. Everything about you intrigues me, excites me, pulls me closer to you.

Every time we meet sparks fly, a current runs through me; when we’re together I can’t help but feel alive. When we speak your voice calms me, while your words ever lovingly challenge. Our conversations are enthralling, compelling me to keep and open mind, reminding me I am never done learning.

Although your presence makes me nervous, I feel uneasy when you’re not around. Through your eyes I get lost staring into the depths of your soul, and when you go I feel uncomfortably adrift.

Though we can’t always be together, and you must come and go as need be, promise you’ll return to me.

Because I know this love, this is a love of infinite possibility.
